Very authentic Indian Food.

For me the best Indian food in the region. Shiva is not only my favorite Indian restaurant but my favorite restaurant. Every dish is a taste explosion. The staff is unique and you feel like you are visiting family and friends rather than a restaurant. There is a wide variety of vegetarian options (our all-time favorite is Dal). It is always a special experience, because you know that the team has the highest standards of itself - so the anticipation of a visit is twice as great. Even now in lockdown the quality is excellent. The restaurant is very careful to comply with all corona rules, so that you always feel comfortable and safe.

At first I didn't have high expectations, but Shiva beats great Indian restaurants in taste, price and hospitality from London to New York. In India, the dish “Dal Makhani” is often used as a litmus test for the quality of a restaurant. Please do yourself a favor and let yourself experience the smoky, rich goodness of Dal in Shiva. Next time I ordered a thali to check if other dishes matched the taste and they did. We are in the restaurant a lot now. In addition, the staff is friendly and caring; Everyone is treated like family. Walking warms our stomach and heart.

Cozy restaurant with decent decor, but not exactly at the star level (nobody expects it either). Service is very friendly and attentive, you were asked again and again if everything was right or if there were wishes. The food came quickly and tasted very good. Before that and there were free sauces, pappadums and flatbread.

Lovely test

I went to the restaurant last week on Sunday. I was at 14:00 . But the guys in the restaurant told that they close. Although the timing on the website and on the door of the restaurant is written as 14:30 they did not respond properly. They told that they close. It was very bad. Though the people were there, but they told that they close and no more food would be served. I left the restaurant with a resolution that I would never step into this restaurant again.

Had been here yesterday .Great service and good ambience..friendly environment..Had ordered roti subzi.. (bread and curry)..Bhindi masala was very tasty..Mixed Vegetable was also good. Good thing is that they customise according to one's own taste and preferences .. May it be spicy or less spicy.Only one concern is the presence of jeera on Gulab Jamun.. I don't think we add jeera to it.. Gulab Jamun was perfect except for the jeera.
